GRAZy Tango – Spring Edition

About Dilara: Dilara Ogretmen is a Berlin-based tango dancer, teacher, and performer, and has been teaching since 2016. Her teaching is based on technique and body mechanics, focusing on how movement originates in the body, is transmitted, and becomes effective in partner work — enabling a precise, efficient, and at the same time expressive tango.

She has taught at all major tango schools in Berlin and has been part of the teaching team at Mala Junta Berlin for over seven years. She is also part of the organizing team of the La Viruta Berlin Tango Festival and has been involved in the milongas Milonga Popular and Tango Rouge.

As a performer, she appears at festivals and events internationally and has danced with Carlitos Espinosa, Pablo Rodríguez, Rodrigo Fonti, Leo Di Cocco, Juan David Vargas, Sebastian Bolivar, and other partners. Her dance is characterized by clarity, groundedness, and musical sensitivity.

GRAZy Tango – Neolonga Spring Edition

About Martin: At our dance school ‚Conny & Dado‘, Martin is our charismatic enthusiast when it comes to Tango Argentino. He expertly embraces both classical and modern approaches and has lately been sighted on the UrbanKiz floor. Martins classes are as professional as they are charming, and will be a valuable addition to the GRAZy Tango Event.

GRAZy Tango – Neolonga Spring Edition

About Angie: Angie (Salsera) has been dancing on international dance floors for a long time. Being part of one of the biggest dance schools in Austria she not only loves Tango Argentino, but also Salsa & Mambo, Kizomba, Lindy Hop & Ballroom and is travelling from one festival to another. With all this experience she knows that you have to take care of your body by looking after your muscles, joints & ligaments during those long weekends of dancing. Therefore she is now successfully sharing her knowledge how to release tension in feet, hips, back, neck & shoulders at many events. Her workshop will show you simple exercises so that you can make your Tango body happy again and get your energy back for the dance floor.

How to come to Graz?

Arrival by Plane

Graz has an international airport, situated 10 km south of the city. There is public transport from the airport to the city centre by bus and train. The bus stop is in front of the terminal, the train station is a short walk. Here you find the frequency: https://www.flughafen-graz.at/en/terminal/anreise-parken/bus-bahn.html. Of course there are taxis or pre-booked shuttles as well.

Always also check the possibility to fly to Vienna as it might be cheaper and there are pretty good connections to Graz:

–          Flix bus – service directly from Vienna Airport to Graz city centre (https://www.flixbus.at)

–          Frequent train service to the main railway station Graz Hauptbahnhof (www.oebb.at)

Arrival by car

Graz is easily reached by car due to the motorways from/to all directions. For parking we recommend hotel parking or the different Park&Ride possibilities (https://www.graztourismus.at/en/travel-and-transport/parking/park-ride) as the city centre has short-time parking zones and you have to pay all day during the week and till 13.00 on Saturdays. Parking on the streets in districts far from the city centre, parking is free.

Arrival by train

Graz is well connected by train and has different railway stations. If you book your train tickets early you get them quite cheaply, for prices check http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en.
